After sourcing the client’s inventory and our go-to stores with no luck finding a table, our tight time frame and limited budget forced us to get resourceful.
Watch as Johnathan Miller gets inspired by a few pieces he found lying around our company’s warehouse — to create a statement piece for Lifestyle Home Builder’s model units.
He found a large piece of wood art, that was the same size as a six top dining room table and decided to reuse an off-white pedestal base from old inventory to create this new table.
Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
A piece of wood, artwork or [???] get creative
A table base(s)
Step 1: Lay the table top surface facedown on the floor. For extra protection use a drop cloth to avoid scratches on surface.
Step 2: Place base or legs on tabletop to your desired position.
Step 3: Attach base with screws and drill.
Step 4: Recruit a friend to help turn over table to right side.
Step 5: Check to make sure the table is not wobbly or can topple over. If the table is not stable consider adding more legs or another base for security to balance the weight distribution.
